NSRI x Bound: 100% waterproof gear, made with Sea Rescue
The NSRI x Bound range was developed with the National Sea Rescue Institute for people who live on, in and around the water. Each piece is built from 500D PVC (80% PVC / 20% polyester) with high-frequency welded seams — not stitched — so there are no needle holes for water to find. Roll-top closures on the Waterproof Backpack and Grab Bag create a complete watertight seal; the Waterproof Tote is two-way waterproof, so it keeps rain out and holds wet kit without leaking through.
Which NSRI x Bound bag?
The Waterproof Backpack (around 20L rolled) has a removable padded sleeve for laptops up to 17" and padded mesh back straps — the pick for rainy-season commutes and paddling trips. The Grab Bag is a 15L dry bag with a single adjustable strap for the walk to the water. The Waterproof Tote is the beach, boat and swim bag for towels, wetsuits and everything sandy.
How every bag funds Sea Rescue
Bound designed the collection free of charge and supplies it to the NSRI at cost, so the NSRI keeps the full margin on everything it sells itself. Buy here or from a bound stockist and 15% of every sale is donated to the NSRI. Find out how the NSRI x Bound partnership works.
All three are covered by Bound's 2-year guarantee, with free delivery across South Africa on orders over R2000.
